The TES reports in an article today that "the first six months of Ofsted’s new inspection regime has seen a near doubling in the proportion of schools judged 'inadequate' while the proportion rated 'outstanding' has more than halved."
Their own analysis found that primary schools 'inadequate' verdicts rose from 3 to 7.3% of reports and Secondaries judged 'outstanding' dropped from 22% to 9.5%.
Ofsted will report their own findings next week.
